Ministry Update: December 25, 2017

Dear Ministry partners,

First of all, would like to which you all with MERRY CHRISTMAS in this year.

This is my second trip after the last e-mail. I came back from another trip and arrived MeaOrk Yesterday morning. I went to the districts of Measariang and back to Meapukie. By God’s grace I could do all the works that I need to do there in a short time. I mean I had meetings and teaching and training and went to 9 villages.

Praise the Lord! For His mighty works one of the daughters of the Churches had established to be a Church on the last Sunday at Meapukkie. There were more than 60 people got baptized and there were 131 people come to Church on each Sunday.
The background of the people there were Catholics and animism (the people who believe in their grandmothers and Fathers’ spirits).
So I am so happy that we got one more Church in this year, but I worry a lot about false teaching is going to be spread in to that areas.

Anyway, I also have a sad news about the police went to check the people in the five villages about the people who we have been helping them to stop using many kinds of drug, and the police found that there were just two people had really stop using it. All the others have been used it. So two of them were taken to the Court. The guys had stop using opium butt they turn to use another kind of drug even more dangerous called EFTM.
Now one of them called him-self a Christian, so the police asked me to take him and train him and he promised to repent, so the police allow him to be trained by me, so please pray that may God help him to really repent and be able to stop using it.

Please pray for the protection of God for the new Church and the Churches from false teaching. Please pray for some of the people in the five villages will be able to stop using the drug and come to know Christ. Please pray for the health of my family because I my daughter is really feeling good. Please pray for my safety transportation trip by trip. Please pray for the leaders of Karen will keep growing in understanding the word and use it in the daily life.
